Jason Crew is the director of gasification & IGCC products, Asia for GE Energy. He is responsible for the quality and operational execution of GE Energy's gasification products in the Asia region, comprising 40 licensed gasification plants.
Frequently called upon to share his expertise in gasification, carbon capture, Jason has offered keynote and seminar speeches at industry events around the world.
Jason joined GE in 2005, and has held roles in product development, marketing strategy, and mergers & acquisitions for a GE???s Aviation, Transportation, and Energy businesses. He has been with GE Energy???s Gasification business since 2007, serving as the commercialization manager for low rank coal IGCC solutions and the 50Hz IGCC product line for the company.
Prior to joining GE, Jason led product development, marketing strategy, and business development for high-growth technology businesses.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, and an MBA from Duke University. He and his family reside in Shanghai, China.

Colin Whyte is the Stakeholder and External Relations Manager with ZeroGen Pty Ltd, an Australian company planning to build one of the world???s first commercial scale IGCC power plants with carbon capture and storage. He brings to this role more than 30 years experience in policy development, issues and environmental management in both the public and private sectors in Australia, Europe and South East Asia. He is a former director of the World Coal Institute, CO2CRC, Australian Coal Association and Australian Coal Association Low Emissions Technologies Pty Ltd. It was in these roles that he gained a keen interest and experience in the development of low emission technologies both in Australia and internationally.
